Rooney Blue is run by Lake House Studio LLC in Seattle, Washington. This page says what we collect when you use rooneyblue.com, what we do with it, and what we don't.

What we collect

If you join the list, your email address. If you place an order, your name, shipping address, email, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Payment details go straight to our payment processor and never touch our servers. If you email us, we keep the email.

Like most sites, we also collect the usual technical things: your browser, device, rough location from your IP address, and which pages you visit. Our site host, Squarespace, collects this for us.

What we do with it

We use it to ship your order, answer your questions, send the occasional email about a drop, and understand which pages people actually read. That's it. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the companies that help us run the shop.

Who helps us run the shop

Squarespace hosts the site, the list, and the checkout. [Squarespace Payments or Stripe] handles payments. The postal service or carrier gets your address so the package can find you. Each of them has its own privacy policy and handles your information under it.

Emails

We only email people who signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works. Unsubscribing takes you off the list; it doesn't affect any order you've placed.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart, remember you between visits, and count visitors. You can block cookies in your browser. The cart won't work without them, and everything else will.

Children

We make underwear for kids, but the shop is for grown-ups. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have on you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@rooneyblue.com and we'll take care of it. If you're in a state with a privacy law that gives you more rights, you have those too.

Keeping it safe

Squarespace and our payment processor use standard encryption and security. No system is perfect, and we'll tell you if something goes wrong with your information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Big changes get an email to the list.
